Clicpton が扱う情報
コピーした内容（クリップボードの履歴）
履歴として、文字・リッチテキスト・画像・ファイルの場所・PDF・URL を、アプリの動作中は、メモリに置きます。設定の「再起動後も履歴を残す」をオンにした場合だけ、この Mac のディスクに、暗号化（AES-GCM）して保存します。暗号化の鍵は、キーチェーンに入ります。パスワード・API キー・カード番号らしい文字列と、非常に大きな画像は、ディスクには保存しません。
画像の中の文字
画像の中の文字を検索できるようにするため、macOS の文字認識（Vision）を、この Mac の中で使います。画像や認識結果は、外に送られません。
設定と試用の開始日
設定は、この Mac のアプリの設定に保存します。14 日間の試用の開始日は、キーチェーンに保存します。アプリを削除しても、試用期間を延長できないようにするためで、開始日以外の個人情報は含みません。
購入
Pro の購入は、Apple のアプリ内課金（StoreKit）で処理されます。支払い情報は Apple が扱い、Clicpton や開発者には届きません。購入済みかどうかは、Apple の仕組みで確認します。
必要な許可と、その使い道
- 入力監視: ⌘V がどう押されたか（短押しか長押しか）を知るために使います。V キー以外のキー入力は、保存も記録も送信もしません。
- アクセシビリティ（イベントの送信）: 履歴から選んだ項目を貼り付けるとき、⌘V を 1 回送るために使います。設定で「選んだら自動で貼り付ける」をオフにすると、キー入力は送りません。
この 2 つの許可を、ほかの目的には使いません。画面の内容や、ほかのアプリの内容は、読みません。
データの削除
- メニューバーの Clicpton のメニューの「履歴をクリア…」で、履歴を消去できます。
- 設定で「再起動後も履歴を残す」をオフにすると、保存したデータも削除されます。
- パスワードなどらしい文字列は、60 秒後に、自動で削除されます（設定で変更できます）。
- アプリを削除すると、アプリの設定と保存した履歴も、削除されます。
第三者への提供
しません。外部のサービスやライブラリに、情報を送ることもありません。

Summary

Information Clicpton handles
What you copy (clipboard history)
While the app runs, it keeps text, rich text, images, file locations, PDFs and URLs as a history in memory. Only if you turn on "Keep history after restart" in Settings is it written to your Mac's disk, encrypted (AES-GCM) with a key kept in the Keychain. Text that looks like a password, API key or card number, and very large images, are never written to disk.
Text inside images
To make text in images searchable, Clicpton uses macOS text recognition (Vision) on your Mac. Images and recognition results never leave your Mac.
Settings and the trial start date
Settings are stored in the app's preferences on your Mac. The start date of the 14-day trial is stored in the Keychain so that deleting the app does not extend the trial; it contains no personal information.
Purchases
Pro is purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase (StoreKit). Apple handles payment information; it does not reach Clicpton or the developer. Whether you have purchased is verified through Apple's system.
Permissions and why they are needed
- Input Monitoring: to know how ⌘V was pressed (short press or long press). Keys other than V are not stored, recorded or sent anywhere.
- Accessibility (posting events): to send a single ⌘V when pasting the item you chose from the history. If you turn off "Paste automatically after choosing" in Settings, no keystroke is sent.
These two permissions are not used for any other purpose. Clicpton does not read screen contents or the contents of other apps.
Deleting your data
- Choose "Clear History…" in the Clicpton menu in the menu bar.
- Turning off "Keep history after restart" in Settings also deletes the saved data.
- Text that looks like a password is deleted automatically after 60 seconds (adjustable in Settings).
- Deleting the app removes its settings and any saved history.
Sharing with third parties
None. Clicpton does not send information to any external service or library.
