1. Our approach
Pibochi ("the app") does not collect or transmit any personal information. The app does not connect to the internet.
2. Information stored only on your Mac
To raise your pet, the app stores the following only on your Mac. None of it is sent to the developer or any third party.
- Your pet's state (name, personality, growth, level, etc.) and your dex
- Usage summaries: the name of the frontmost app, how long apps were used (totals per hour, day and week), the number of app switches, idle time, the number of sleeps and locks, battery state, time since your Mac started, and free disk space
- Your pet's chat history and your settings (appearance, text size, language, etc.)
3. What the app does not read
Keystrokes, screen contents, window titles, web addresses, file contents, contacts, and location.
4. Deleting your data
"Delete all data…" in Settings removes everything listed above. Deleting the app also removes its stored data.
5. In-app purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. The app never receives your payment information.
